Rosanne Marie
Williams
June 20, 1951 – October 31, 2025
Rosanne Williams was born on June 20, 1951, in Grants Pass, Oregon, and raised in Cave Junction, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde McNeil, and her mother, Esther Folk. She is survived by her sister, Shirley McNeil, and her longtime partner, Bernard Kron, of Seattle, Washington; her brother, Edward McNeil, of Grants Pass, Oregon; her sons, Shawn Williams, Travis Williams, and Raymond Williams, Jr.; and her daughter, Angelec King. Rosanne was also the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Throughout her life, Rosanne lived in Arizona, Utah, the Philippines, Texas, California, Washington State, and Alaska, where she and her family ultimately settled. She cherished the beauty and wonder of Alaska, calling it home for more than 40 years. Most unique of all was her front yard, where local moose would peacefully bed down and, on occasion, give birth to their calves—an everyday reminder of the quiet harmony she shared with Alaska's wild beauty.
Rosanne deeply loved family gatherings—especially if they involved Texas Roadhouse or Red Robin. Any occasion where her family surrounded her made her feel complete. She will be remembered for her homemade cakes, thoughtful thank-you cards, and late-night phone calls. We will miss her check-in calls or texts after every earthquake, and whenever Alaska's northern lights lit up the sky.
Rosanne was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cake-maker, small business owner, matriarch, confidante, and friend. She was many things to many people—and she will be deeply missed.
